At Abbeywood Projects, for every piece of furniture we create or room we restore, we follow a strict code of professionalism that ensures you receive the highest quality result without compromising safety, design or the environment.
Working practice
We take pride in our professionalism as much as we do in our products, and will always uphold our reputation as a quality company. From the simplest job to the most complex, you can be sure that we will always deliver on time and will never compromise on quality.
Health and safety: We believe in ‘health before wealth’ and will never work in an unsafe way, in our workshop or at a project site.
Onsite practices: When we are on site, be it an office block or a private home, we will always treat it and its inhabitants with the upmost respect. We will do everything in our power to minimise disruption, and will always leave the site clean and safe
Project management
We have the capacity to fully manage your project from conception to completion. Not only can we provide the full range of cabinetmaking and joinery for everything from a room redecoration to an entire house renovation, but we can also call upon a number of reputable professionals to complete all aspects of the project including electrics and plumbing.
We will always be available to answer questions or address any concerns, and are more than happy to take you through the process step by step. And as with all of our work, you can be assured of our high standard of quality throughout - and that we will not be satisfied until you are.

Technology in practice
At Abbeywood Projects we embrace technology as the perfect companion to traditional hand woodworking. The technology we use in the workshop provides an extra level of precision and accuracy, and can help reduce project times. But we always hand finish our products to provide those special details and unique touches.
Quality with conscience
We design our products to last lifetimes, so we believe that it is our responsibility to help the natural environment last lifetimes as well. All our timber is sourced from sustainably managed forests and we will never use endangered timbers or any material that has come from an unreliable source. We are always happy to discuss the origins of our materials, and are always seeking out new, quality materials that have more robust environmental credentials.
We also believe in efficient use of resources - we always make an effort to improve the life cycle of the materials we use and we source locally where possible. And as we are always looking for ways to reduce waste, we no longer print brochures and have cut down on our office paper use.
